Sept./Oct. 2007

Dear Friends:

Well, it looks like September escaped me as we were busy preparing for our six week vacation trip. We've been gone for a month now and it's hard to believe it's the middle of October already, especially when the weather's still so warm. We've seen a lot of God's handiwork as we take in the beautiful foliage in each state along the way! It's truly amazing how God created all of this in just 7 days! We're totally in awe!

So far our trip has consisted of sightseeing, antique shopping, visiting family, antique shopping, performing concerts, antique shopping, visiting friends and did I mention, antique shopping??!!! We are having a blast! So many stores and so little time! If Boise had this many antique shops we'd feel like we had cornered the market on a little piece of Heaven here on earth! Our car is pretty full….but I'm sure we can fit a few more things in if we lose a little weight!

As we head into this next week we are looking forward to some spiritual refreshment as we soak up the talents of some of our favorite southern gospel singers in concert. Groups such as Heirline, The Booth Brothers, The Greenes, and The Isaacs etc. Today (10/14) we were especially blessed to be able to see The Whisnants in concert in Collinsville, VA. What a wonderful time we had! Wish you were here!

Well, as most of you know, the Holiday Benefit Concert for the Boise Rescue Mission is right around the corner. This is our 9th year and I'm so excited to see what God will do with all your donations! Each year has been such a blessing to give to those in need. And I couldn't do it without the wonderful singers who donate their time and talents and especially their hearts for giving. I am proud to share the stage with them and so grateful for the behind the scenes people who make this all possible…..New Heights Christian Fellowship Church has offered their building each year in helping us to raise the much needed funds for this time of year! So many of us take for granted the warmth of a home, food on our table, a job, good health and a family who loves us. I hope all of you will come out and share the blessings of your abundance with those who need to know that others care! Let's help Bill make this a miracle year in giving!

As I close, I want to thank all of you for your prayers! We have felt each one of them as we narrowly escaped a few accidents along the way. We know it's your prayers and the hand of God who has kept us safe! So keep those prayers coming as we continue to make our way home. Although we're having an awesome time, we're starting to miss the lights of home! It's that time of year when Fall is here and Christmas is right around the corner and I can't wait to celebrate! As a matter of fact I brought my Christmas music along so I could get started early! What Jack has to endure…….:)

Until next time, may the Lord bless and keep you!

Love & Blessings,
